What We Do
A Discipleship Team consists of 5-7 missionaries who work in a parish for the duration of the mission year. Building sincere friendships with Irish young people, missionaries walk with youth who are looking for the next step in their faith.
Missionaries work with the local priests and teachers to develop the best programmes to fit individual groups of young people and their spiritual needs.
Discipleship is the core of what we do. Peer mentorship is essential to building and fostering faithful Christians.
Assisting in catechesis, discipleship teams facilitate year-long Confirmation classes and retreats.
Teams lead weekly youth groups full of fun games, engaging talks, and learning activities.
We provide students time to step away from the busyness of everyday life to connect or reconnect with Jesus.
Music is a massive part of our ministry, whether that’s for Mass or Holy Hours.
After-school clubs give students more opportunity to encounter the Gospel in a pressure-free environment.
