Mackenzie Danahy

Hi there! My name’s Mackenzie Danahy and I hail from Canada! I was born and raised in Ontario, in a smaller city called Belleville, which is a quiet little haven nestling a bay in Lake Ontario. I am the youngest of five, and I love hiking and being in Nature, mainly. I love playing Foosball, listening to instrumental music, writing – I have this old 1950’s typewriter on which I love typing stories – and sipping a cup of hot water (yes, I love hot water!) while hanging out with family and friends!! After finishing high school, I have spent the 2023-2024 year with NET Canada on the Traveling Retreat Team, and it has been an absolute wildfire of God’s love! Spreading the Faith and sharing God’s love with the youth has been such an honour, and I have loved meeting so many wonderful people. It has given me the opportunity to grow in living mission out in community, which has been so beautiful! I am writing now as I feel called to pursue NET Ireland for the 2024-2025 year! I am amazed as I look at the many ways in which God works as we all journey to become nothing less but saints!
